Lavender Facial Cream Recipe
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel1/3 cup carrier oil (grapeseed or olive works well)
1 tablespoon white bee's wax
2 tablespoon anhydrous lanolin
2 tablespoon rosewater
2 to 3 drops lavender essential oil
Using a wire wisk, mix the aloe gel into the oil. Set aside and melt the bee's wax with the lanolin in a double boiler. Slowly stir in the essential oil mixture. Stir in the rosewater, stirring until the mixture starts to thicken. Pour into a jar and cap tightly. The aloe adds a wonderful texture to this lovely cleansing and moisturizing cream.
