Simply Fancy Homemade Soap
4 ounces of finely grated Ivory Soap4 tablespoons strongly brewed tea (must be dark brown in color)
1 tablespoon finely crushed hazelnuts or walnut
3 drops of your favorite essential oil
You'll need to break out your favorite candy molds for this recipe. If you don't have leaves or Christmas trees, you can always use a cupcake pan. Grease the bottom of the molds with un-petroleum jelly and set aside. Pour the soap and water into the top part of a double boiler or into a saucepan over water and heat gently. Do not boil. Stir occasionally until the soap is white and fluffy (this may take 20 minutes). Quickly add the crushed nuts and oil
and mix well.
