Aphrodite's Passion Bath Salts Recipe
You will need:
2 cups Epsom salt
1 cup Sea salt
1/2 cup Baking Soda
10 drops Sandalwood essential oil
5 drops Patchouli essential oil
5 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
liquid food coloring (color of your choice)
1 Tbsp. of carrier oil (almond, grapeseed, olive, etc.. your choice)
Place the salt mixture into a bowl. Add the drops of your liquid food coloring. Mix very well with a fork. Add the mixture to a pretty jar, salt tube, or container that has a tight fitting lid. After a day, you may wish to mix well again to ensure that the oils have blended very well.
Add 1/2 - 1 cup of the salts to running bath water. Mix well to ensure that the salt has dispersed well in the tub before entering. To keep the essential oils from evaporating too quickly, you can add the bath salts just before getting in the tub instead of while the water is running. Sitting on undissolved chunky bath salts can be painful, so make sure the salts have dissolved well before entering.
