Georgia Peach Cold Cream Recipe
1/4 teaspoon borax powder1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup peach kernel oil
1 tablespoon grated beeswax
1 tablespoon fresh peach juice
1 to 2 drops peach fragrance oil
Dissolve borax powder in water and set aside. Place peach kernel oil and beeswax in a heat-resistant container and heat gently in a water bath until beeswax is melted. When beeswax is melted, heat water and borax solution in the same water bath. Add peach juice to the water solution and slowly pour into the beeswax-oil mixture in a steady, thin stream. Make sure to stir constantly; or, pour the mixture into a blender and mix on high until well blended. Pour the thick cream into a container and allow to cool completely. Stir in a few drops of peach fragrance oil. The cold cream will thicken as it cools.
