Lightening Brown Spots on the Skin

Many of us who are older have a history of excessive exposure to sun, and have developed brown spots on our skin. Brown spots—age spots or liver spots they are sometimes called—are the result of sun exposure. I’ve seen certain ingredients used over and over again in the hold herbal body care formulas for this problem. The ingredients include vitamin E, aloe vera gel, fruit acids such as lemon juice and organic apply cider vinegar, enzymes such as papaya and pineapple, witch hazel, and horseradish mixed with lemon juice, or milk. I’ve seen my own age spots significantly diminish over a number of months using lemon juice as an astringent and an aloe vera gel and glycerin moisturizer (3/4 parts aloe vera gel, 1/4 part natural vegetable glycerin).

Bath and Body Tip #4

Try to bathe at night after all your work is completed so you can relax better and be able to sleep.
